Berlin Victory Monument, 2014 - Berlin Germany.
Originally designed to commemorate the victory of Prussia over Denmark in 1864, the column and statue of Victoria (Roman Goddess of Victory, known as Nike in Greek mythology) subsequently also served as reminders of the Prussia's victory over respectively Austria and France at its inauguration in 1873. The Berlin Victory Column is known as Siegessäule in German.
